Summerland Steam
Summerland Steam is a Junior B hockey franchise located in Summerland, British Columbia.
The founder, Jonathan Bowman, requested a website for Summerland's new Junior B hockey team. They wanted to showcase their new team and start registration and try-outs for new players. The design process went through a few iterations before we decided on the current page. Jonathan's objectives were that the website would feature their sponsors and that they would be able to update content on their end.
A simple, customized content management system (CMS) was built for Summerland Steam with a back-end that allowed them to create and edit new pages, manage the sponsor images and links, alter the steam news headline, modify the player of the week, manage the page menus, and modify the Next Steam Game module.
